  • Yes they should be, but there really is no definite way of telling untill you have an ultrasound. The range of normal in early pregnancy can be anywhere between 3-4.000 to 100,000 or more for just a single fetus. What matters more is if the levels are doubling and in the case of twins I am not entirely sure if they will more than double or not. Wait to be sure for an ultrasound.
