whole milk

Is it really that big of a deal if I give my 11 month old whole milk?

  • It *could* be. His tummy's not quite there yet. If there's been ANY dairy sensitivity in your family, wait.

  • Not really. They say wait till the baby is one because of food allergies and that their tummies can't really digest whole milk yet. But if your baby is eating solids and there are no problems then a little cow's milk want hurt. But to be on the safe side ask your pediatrician.

  • Good point. My sister and her son (possibly Daddy) are all lactose intolerant. My son has been on soy formula since birth.
