  • I think it's scary and will be first used for good, to track your childin case he or she goes missing, for instance, then to keep track of dangerous criminals, then comes the slippery slope, and it will be used to store everybody's health records, then for ease of purchasing and preventing identity theft, then eventually all infants will have them inserted at birth, and big brother will have full control of us all.

  • You know, eventually it's going to be a law that we all have to get one. I think it's going to have good and bad applications. Yes, "Big Brother" (as it were) will be able to keep track of each of us. But that may not necessarily be a bad thing. I think crime will go way down once people know that they can be arrested seconds after committing a crime. Children will be returned seconds after being kidnapped. No one would ever get lost again. BUT, I see how it could also be used for the wrong side of the coin.
