Could it be???

Is Obama so scared he wouldn’t get a warm reception from a military whose efforts he has spent his political career dissing and diminishing, that he had the event staged 100%?

A sergeant who was there explained the subterfuge. “We were pre-screened, asked by officials ‘Who voted for Obama?’, and then those who raised their hands were shuffled to the front of the receiving line. They even handed out digital cameras and asked them to hold them up.”

Now, look at the AP photo. All the cameras are the same!

  • Whoopie. Bush did the exact same thing (ask my husband as he was one who was prescreened and, since he is a Democrat through and through, was not allowed to participate).

  • I don't think it was staged. They asked who the BO supporters were and they are the ones that went. As for the cameras, you can't run down to the local camel tent and pick one up. He does have supporters that are in the military, maybe not the majority, but they are there.

  • The president's unannounced stop Tuesday in battle-scarred Iraq capped a talky, fencing-mending sojourn through Europe where the new president ---- warmly received by the European people ---- sought to plant the seeds of an improved relations with standoffish governments.

But at Baghdad's Camp Victory, assembled U.S. forces mobbed Obama, snapping pictures and stretching out their arms for a handshake with the commander in chief, who personally brought the message that they had "performed brilliantly" in a job that was nearly done.

as it was an unannounced stop, I don't think they could do that...
