When people say your baby is that actually the teeth coming through? Or is it the whole act of the baby being fussy about it?

  • it is the process of a tooth moving upwards towards and eventually through the gum. it is a painful process. it can cause fussiness, the poops, and fever. alternate giving baby tylenol/advil or which ever pain relievers you prefer. and rub baby orajel on the gums. also give baby a frozen wash rag to chew on.

  • Teeth moving through and cutting through the gums. It's very painful for the baby and it also can causing diarrhea due to excessive saliva being swallowed. There was one pain reliever that was wonderful for my son and niece it's called Hurricane Gel. I don't know if you can order it online though you probably can. I asked for OTC at the pharmacy.
