How long does teething last?

  • I was lucky enough that teething only lasted about a month for me and she got about 7 in all at one time. I really think it varys though.

  • It depends. Kaylee started at 4 months and cut her first tooth at 8 months (I know she started at 4 months cause the doctor said her gums looked "full" and said he guessed she would cut a tooth anytime).

    She cut her first tooth without me knowing, and then 5 days later she screamed for 2 days and cut her 2nd tooth.
    At 10 months old her third tooth started coming in, and that took a week.
    Now at 11 months her top teeth are coming in - but those are the teeth that the doctor thought she would cut first. It has taken 6 months for those to drop down and actual start coming though.

    It all depends on the baby :)
