lol I feel stupid asking, but its something id like to know

Do you have a cervix if your not pregnant and never were pregnant?
(yes im pregnant lol, very much so. due any day now) but id like to know if your body has a cervix anyway? or if it just makes one when you get pregnant

  • You have one. It just isn't all closed up. You know you can get cervical cancer right? It's cause you have a cervix.

  • Yes, your body has a cervix anyways, unless you have it removed due to cancer or other health issues.

  • your funny and kinda cute. When you have a pelvic exam the part they mainly poke for tests and look at with there fancy tools is your cervix. if you were to look into the vagaina and down the canal, the opening to your uterus is your cervix. It is where the baby as well as mentrual blood came through. It's what contracts and relaxes to allow fluids to pass as well as baby and gives you some of the cramping you feel. When you are not aroused your cervix is a lot closer to your vaginal opening, just a few inches, you could actually feel it for youself. Sorry if that is tmi.
