  • No soda or carbonated beverages, this includes diet soda. You are getting empty calories from this. Water, Water, Water!

Be reasonable with your new menu and eating regime. If it is something that you do not see yourself doing for the rest of your life, you are probably going to fall off the wagon. Meaning, dont be doing a peanut diet, or an all liquid diet, because no one can eat like that for extended periods of time. Be reasonable.

Dont have cheat DAYS. It is okay to have one meal that might not be what you would normally eat, but dont go crazy and have a cheat day in a seven day week, you will ruin all the work you have done for the week.

Weight yourself no more than once a week. Your body will fluxuat weight at different times of the day and week.

Walking is a great calorie burner, so even if you dont have the energy to go to the gym, take a walk for an hour, and do it so your heart rate is up as well.

  • Its called a 3 hour diet..
I used it while i was training to go into the military. i lost some pretty good weight in a short time. It was great and feels great.

The goal of the low fat, medium carbs, and high protein and fiber diet is to keep the stomach filled by eating every three hours.
If you mix in one or two short workouts in the day you can make your mini-meals protein and carb enriched to replenish your energy level and give the body needed muscle building/fat burning fuel.

    I wish you luck!!!!

  • Think of it as making yourself healthy, not at a diet. Make it a long term life commitment to eating healthy. Give yourself small breaks every once in a while. Never give up.

  • Check this out. It's not a fad diet. This is a lifestyle change that will help you to lose weight, avoid some future diseases and give you more energy as well as help prevent mood swings. http://health.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=693899

  • Make small changes one at a time and don't do it all at once. It can be overwhelming. Stop buying processed foods and stick mostly to the outer aisles of the grocery store. Lots of fresh foods. Then change from white breads and rice to whole grains. Excercise...set small goals. 30 min daily, the move up as time goes on. Get help from a friend.
