  • Home Depot, Lowes, usually home centers carry it. I can get it from the beach in my side yard, but the mailing costs would be a killer. You can also call gravel companies as they have sand as well sometimes.

  • Put an add on craigslist as well, but I would contact your local gravel and landscaping companies they could help you out as to who to call.

  • Your local garden center or nursery will deliver it by the cubic yard either to your driveway, or if it is accessible to the actual site. Usually the delivery fee is included in the per cubic yard price, or if you get a large quantity of sand and some other landscaping supplies, like river rocks or mulch, they'll waive the delivery fee. If you tell the nursery/garden center how big an area you need to cover they will be able to estimate the number of yards you will need. It will be A LOT cheaper than buying bags of sand at Home Depot/Lowe's!

    Check your local yellow pages!

  • You can also call an excavater, they do it all the time. Bring it in a dumptruck so you can have them put it where you want it.
