Ramen noodles question?

can my 7 m/o eat ramen noodles if I cut each one in half or in fourths? Or do I need to grind them with the baby food grinder?

  • I seriously doubt the child will suffer any negative effects from eating a few ramen noodles!! I never thought to give my 9 month old ramen noodles...they are really soft (when cooked) and would be a great way to introduce her to regular pastas (like spaghetti). Thanks for the idea!

BTW, I grew up eating "white" pasta and I'm pretty darn healthy... my daughter will eat whatever kinds of pasta I eat...

  • I would definitely make them shorter, but I don't see why not, just don't use the seasoning because that is LOADED with salt that your baby doesn't need.

  • watch out for sodium, 7 month old should not have that much sodium & ramen noodles are loaded w/ sodium. How about plain noodles?

  • I think your baby can eat them... but I wouldn't... I don't know if all ramen noodles are this way, but the ones I buy are fried and have tons of salt.

  • yeah I figured not to put the seasoning on them. I just thought I'd try their noodles before normal pasta because they are softer and she doesn't have any teeth.

  • They're the same as other cooked pasta.

  • I'm sure your son CAN eat them, but their not very healthy. Their packed with MSG which kills brain cells in lab rats. Scary! Also their white pasta, which has no nutritional value and does more harm than good. When I started giving my LO pasta, I would just cut up whole wheat pasta, and boil the crap out of it to make it as soft as possible.

  • buy some healthy whole grain pasta instead. even without the seasoning, ramen noodles are total sh*t.
