putting my son in his crib for a few minutes for quiet time? Sometimes I just need it. I don't do it for hours, just for a short while.

  • No, sometimes it is the best thing for both of you. If you need a little break, chances are he might too.
It is better to put him in his crib where he is safe and take a moment to calm down than it is to take your frustration out on him.
You will both be better off in the long run.

  • I think you putting your son in his crib is fine he probably need the quiet time too it makes you a better mommy when you are not so tried and stressed out.

LOL, just kidding. I do this all the time. Sometimes it's best for both of you to "get away" from each other for a minute or two to keep you from going crazy!

  • gurl, don't even sweat it. i used to have to put muh bby in her playpen/crib for atleast 20 mins every now n then. when i asked the dr what to do about having quiet time or a lil break, he told me 20-30 mins in the crib. n it worked. i'd be up n ready to play with her again after muh break!!

  • I do it so that the subject line isn't really long...
