Late term tests ...

Could anyone tell me if getting a late amnio and CVS test is more accurate and has lower risks of loss to the baby.

There is some serious concerns going on with baby and i would like some answers that may give some better hope in what treatment plan is best.

I will not terminate but to prepare for the possibilites of what my baby may have or what we need to face.

I'm 30 weeks.

Thank you

  • they are both accurate pretty much anytime. I don't think the risks go down though.. I am not sure. If you feel an amnio is 100 percent necessary, I think they could do it now. A CVS is usually done earlier.

I may not be right though.
