Would you consider this to be "abusing the system"?

Do you think it's wrong for a woman who receives public asistance because she only works part time so she can stay home and homeschool her child(ren)?

  • Homeschooling them because she feels it would be better for her child's education. Not because she's just using it as an excuse to sit at home.

  • What kind of PA are you talking about? Medical card, food stamps, or cash assistance?

I think that the mother obviously has a concern for her child's education and if you know anything about homeschooling, it is not an excuse to be lazy. It's work!

  • Well is she a single mom? because even if she worked full time or part time she would most likely get assistance. If she wants to homeschool, sure why not. She probably wouldnt make enough to support her without assistance even if she worked full time
