What can I do with my 7 week old daughter with diarrhea? My son had the stomach flu last week and now I think she caught it. Can anyone help?

  • If breastfeeding, offer the breast often. If formula, only offer half an ounce at a time. Call the doc to see if pedialyte would be OK or necessary.

  • Just keep pushing the fluids, chances are she has it too and it needs to run through her. As long as you keep hydrating her, it'll be fine. You should familiarize yourself w/ signs of dehydration, listlessness, no wet diapers, doughy skin, pressing on the figernail till white and if the pink doesn't come back right away, that is a sign, etc..
