bad eating habits???

it seems like im never hungry during the day (anytime before 4) then during the evening im starving and eat anything and everything! how do i kick this bad habit?

  • Start making yourself eat healthy food for breakfast, then work up to eating a healty lunch, too. You won't be so starving at night.

  • try snacking during the day even if you're not hungry. that way when evening comes, you're not as hungry. hubby thinks i eat like a bird 'cause i'm constantly snacking on fruit, veggies, cheese, etc. but then when it comes to meal time, i just eat less 'cause i'm not as hungry.

  • Try to have at least 4 snacks before dinner. Also having a carb and protein with each snack/meal is a great way to get your metabolism going. Try egg white omelets and whole grain toast for breakfast, turkey lunch meat and whole grain Kashi crackers with sliced tomato for lunch, apples or celery with peanut butter for snack, salad with chicken or tuna with kashi crackers (I recommend Kashi because though they are whole grain they are very tasty too). Frozen fruits are good too especially in the summer. I freeze watermelon chunks, grapes, strawberries, etc.

  • Try eating minimeals throughout the day to keep your bloodsugar stable. It is ok to have a snack at night, just keep it healthy.
