OK so we have it down 2 fn choices and 2 mn choices but cant narrow it down from there..
we wanted a D name after his mother AND MN to be either JOhn or James (both are male versions of my moms MN.. trust me it has to be her mn her first name i norma and no way is Norman working! lol)
so here it is
Daven (like Gavin) James
Dallen (like Allen) James
our girl name is going ot be Alayla Jade and that one is set but boys names a stuck

Oh come on!!! Norman is a hot, manly name. I think you should use that for the first name. Just kidding and no offense to the Normans out there.
Both Daven and Dallen are great names, however, Daven rhymes with Gavin, which is getting more and more popular. Dallen would always be more unique, but not so odd that he would be tormented about it. Also, the suggestion from PP about pronouncing it Dayven would happen anyway and would be annoying to correct. JMO, but both are great names.
