When you get an epitisomy (sisw) when you try to walk does if feel like you are ripping apart?

  • I had an episiotomy with my first and yes, it was awful afterward. I refused it with my second two. I shiver thinking about it, gosh it was awful.

  • I have actually had 3 episiotomies, and while not comfortable, it wasn't that big a deal to me. But with my 4th child, I only had a tear, and I can tell you, that is much better!!!!

  • Oh, and just to clarify, I didn't feel like I was tearing apart when walking. But going to the toilet was very uncomfortable, and you have to be VERY careful when wiping. But it was more the pain that it caused that was a nuisance.
