So....... how much did you get?

Your big tax breaks should be showing up in your checks by now, so how much did you get and what will you be doing with it? I'm getting $7.50 a week. Did you know the amount will be 1/2 less starting in January 2010 before it disappears in 2011?

  • Well lets see. At my dh job everyone got a 2% pay decrease and one guys position was elimated to offset the "tax breaks". At my job no one will be getting a pay raise, 2 positions have been elimated across the company in all the stores, and one guy took a pay cut to offset the "tax breaks".

  • $10 and change a week. It's not a lot but it is helping.

  • Start saving your pennies!!! :o) It's should come in handy to offset the increase in utility costs, groceries, etc once Obama's cap and trade goes through.

Yay Obama!    less CHANGE in my pocket than I CAN BELIEVE IN..

  • We've seen only $9.00 in my husband pay. That's it. Too little to tell if it's "helping".

  • About $80 a month. My husband is paying less than $100 a month in federal taxes now.

I only wish that we were paying less in SS and Medicare...

  • I will add that he only gets paid once a month so the change is significant when you see the drop.

  • We aren't seeing anything. How sad. I guess since I didn't vote for him, I don't get change.
