What would be the ideal weight for a shorty who is 5'1"?

Currently I am 136 lbs, but I want to lose weight.

  • My sister is 5'3 and 101 lbs. You can look up a height and weight chart and they do it based on your age and height to give you a good bmi.

  • I am 5'2 and weighed 135 before I had my last baby 10 months ago. I was so happy with that weight. I envy you. lol. I need to lose 10 pounds! yuck.

  • I'm 5'1 and I weigh 150 pounds! I think the normal weight would be 115 thats how much I weighed before I lost my virginity!

  • 105-110lbs. The general rule is to be 100lbs at 5ft and to add 5lbs for every inch after 5ft. That's how you establish a range.

    Speaking in slang makes you look uneducated. Oh yeah, and about your question, you are overweight. Someone of that height should say about 115...MAYBE 120.

  • For every 5ft add 100lbs and 5 lbs for every in. after that so I would say 105 but it also depends on your body frame.

  • Ideal according to "Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee" says women 5'1" ages 19-34 s/b 101-132 ages 35+ s/b 111-143
