When you hear someone talking about Alaska what country do you think of?

I often hear (or in this case read posts from) people who have no idea where Alaska is. So when you see / hear Alaska what do you think of location wise? Do you know where Alaska is, or what country it is in? Just curious.

  • Alaska is beautiful in the summer. I dont like the winters.

Totally worth the visit. I think Anchorage would be the better choice for visiting. Fairbanks, and te rest of the interior is beautiful, don't get me wrong, but there isn' tmuch else here. . .

  • It's suprising how many people after the last election STILL don't realise that Alaska is part of the USA. I run into it all the time, especially when ordering something that has to be shipped "Sorry, we can't ship to Alaska, we only ship the America"!!!
