Any tips on keeping a house clean with...

a slob hubby a 4yr old a 2yr old and a newborn.

  • The family will only do, what you allow them to get away with. As the saying goes "Let's take it from the top!" Hubby would have to pitch in. 4 year old would have toy shopping buggy to help me pick up stuff. I would also incorporate clean up, if she won't nap, by having her play vacuum while I vacuum, have her iron while I iron, etc.

  • I am not kidding you about the vacuum also keep them busy painting ect bordom breeds trouble sometimes. Hubby needs a good dose of Dr. Phil!

  • I would get a playpen to put the 2 year old in. lay the newborn in his bed, put a movie in for the 4 year old and do simply cleaning really fast. Vacuum, dust, clean mirrors, bathrooms, sweep the floor, etc... Lots of luck to you.

  • A playpen wouldn't work. My 2 yr old would just climb out. I have to wait till mine take naps.
