  • 97.3-98.3 F
Anything more than that is to high if your baby is under 3 months. 104F is a HUGE fever and you need to go the ER!!! It's super dangerous, even for adults. I was worried because my son was sweating and I spent an hour on the phone with the nurse going over all the details. She said if he is above 98.3 to take all his clothes off and wait 30 min. If he cools down great, if not, go to the doctor.

  • A normal range temperature is a normal range temperature. The baby should have the same or similar temperature as you. The normal range is up to 99.8, anything over 100 and up to 100.5 is low grade fever and 100.5 and above is fever. Check with your pediatrician for the degree of temperature s/he wants you to call (ours said 102.5 for infants, and now over 103 and uncontrollable for toddlers and up)

  • Depends on how you take it....
Under the arm - 97.8-98.9 would be normal and 100.5 would be a fever. For a baby under 3 months you need to call the doctor about anything over 100.5
If you do rectal- Normal would 98-99.9
