  • You can get pregnant even with your tubes tied. It could end up being a tubal pregnancy so be careful about it. Sometimes the clamps come off so I would take a test and see your doctor. Pregnancy is always possible even years after its done.

  • I think it's rare, but I actually know someone who got pregnant after a tubal. Anything is possible.

  • Also I had a friend who had hers cut and burnt and 4 years later ended up having a tubal pregnancy. Some how they fused back together so anything is possible. Another friend of ours have a baby 13 years after having it done as well. Weird things happen

  • Nothing is 100% other than abstinence and breastfeeding has no bearing on the topic. You're ovulating, you can get pregnant, even after a tubal.

  • Yes, breastfeeding does matter. True birth control with breastfeeding, and it's still not 100%, is when you are nursing a baby exclusively, no supplements of any type, and through the night. So, if that baby is sleeping through the night, you're not protected.
