  • My 9 month old DD is breastfed, and has still had about 6 colds since birth. I have 3 older boys so it's mission impossible to keep those types of germs away from her!! But babies are so resilient, and cope quite well with having a cold. I just used paracetamol for comfort if she was grizzly or had a temp, and I also rubbed Vaporub onto her chest and sprayed saline nasal spray up her nose to help clear it.

  • if this is yoru child's first cold you arae very very lucky. Children are mroe likely to get colds due to their imune system growing.

  • oh yea! My son got bronchitis at 2 months old. It was not fun at all, but yes they can. A dr. can give a baby something to help if you think the cold will require meds to get rid of, unless it is a viral cold then they may not. My son got a viral cold right after bronchitis and they told us we would just have to wait that one out....hopefully your lil one will get better soon.
