Which books did you read while pregnant? (and I meant books about pregnancy!)

I was just curious, cause I am a big time reader. Especially when pregnant! I read the books, "Your pregnancy week by week" -Dr. Glade B. Curtis and Judith Schuler and then "A Miracle in the Making" -Haendiges and Associates Michelle M. Haendiges. I loved these two books. I was hoping to find more that are worth reading.

  • i hate the What to Expect books. Lots of bad info. I do like anything by Dr Sears (the pregnancy book, the baby book, etc). Also, Thinking Woman's Guide to a Better Birth, Birthing from Within, and Expecting Trouble: The Myth of Prenatal Care in America. but definitely anything by Dr William Sears is pure gold, IMO.

  • I only read the Mayo Clinic's pregnancy, birth and the first year of life. you can get it free from your local state farm agent, even if you don't have state farm insurance.

  • I think that those "What to Expect" books are CRAP. They will turn you into a raging hypochondriac! I really liked "Natural Baby" by Dr Sears... it gives GREAT information and lets you make your own decisions about how to raise your child.
