  • did you breastfeed? My friends boy can hold his bottle and even though I pump quite often and give her it through a bottle my baby girl still cant at the same age.

  • DS is 9 months old and still doesn't hold a bottle...he does everything else ahead of schedule.

  • My first held hers at 4 months and my second not till 8 months. They are wildly different but dont worry, the lazy ones will catch up!

  • Every kid moves at there own pace my 1st did it at 3mnths my 2nd at 10 mnths. If you want to help it along I was told to encourage it and make them do I didn't follow.

  • My son mostly Bf but got bottle when I worked, he had them til 10 months when he wanted a sippy but he never held his own bottle ever not once

  • It's probably a good thing because as long as he's not holding his bottle you wont be tempted to sit him with it rather than holding him during feeding time. Hold your baby when he needs to eat!

  • holding a bottle is not a milestone. babies arent supposed to know how to do that.
