feet

If you hate feet, you probably shouldn't look. My feet are not a pretty sight and I had to twist my ankel in the most uncomfortable position to take this picture=]

So i've been getting this weird rash, on and off on my feet and hands since i've been pregnant. Finally i got an OK picture of it so I can show the doctor incase its gone (again) by the time i get to see her again next week. Anyone ever seen anything like this before?

My first thought, ringworm, but whatever this is stays for maybe an hour then disappears and then comes back a day to a couple days later. Not to mention it itches TERRIBLY and it hurts so bad i can barely walk (kind of like nerve pain).

  • The reason why you might experience a rash during pregnancy is most likely to do with the increased levels of hormones in your body. Without getting too scientific an increase or a decrease in certain hormones affects your blood which in turn affects the pigmentation of your skin. One result of this is a rash, another maybe acne or perhaps even itchy skin.

The good news is that if you're unlucky enough to experience a skin rash during pregnancy is that it will clear up within a short space of time after giving birth. Once your body has had a chance to get back to normal and all of the pregnancy hormones have been flushed from your system you will notice dramatic improvements.

  • How far along are you? I saw this episode on Deliver Me where this woman had this rash all over her body that just appeared. IT was from the hormones and they had to induce her. Your picture doesn't work or I'd see if it looked like it

  • I have no idea. Try some cortisone cream for the itching.
