What do I do with them???

My Dh found a couple 5-6 week old kittens on our porch. What do I feed them? There is no mama around, so Im not sure what to do with them...

  • they make powdered kitten formula that you can get at walmart or wherever. i'm not sure how old kittens are supposed to be when they leave their mom but if they seem independent enough they'll probably just eat regular cat food.

  • I would take them to the humane society tomorrow of you don't want to keep them... Otherwise run an ad on craigslist , put them in a box or storage tub at night with a little straw if you have any.
    I'd take one if you lived close.....

  • Just give them soft kitten food. I would get some formula too to mix with the food.

  • Kitten food softened with milk and mushed all together did the trick for mine. Of course you sometimes have to teach them to eat it for themselves either using a syringe or tea spoon. Just like an infant only smaller and faster growing...
