  • Are you looking for milestones or to compare? Because each child is different. My oldest could count to twenty by the time he was 15 mo. My youngest could count to twenty by 24 months.

  • I don't remember all of them. I didn't really care when they performed what skills to others.

    Gavin- I forget.
Connor- didn't talk really until he was 4.
Ki- counted to 5 when he was 5. Counted to 4 when he was 4, Counted to 3 when he was 3, counted to 2 when he was 2....... He is very Stubborn and a bit OCD. I'm sure he could count to 5 when he before he was 2, he just didn't want to.

  • My 2 year old is counting to 14 by himself.

My 3 year old counts to 20 by himself.

My 5 year old (kindergarten this fall) counts to 100 by himself.

I'm not sure when any of them counted to 5 for the first time. They recognized their numbers 0-10 before they were counting and that was before 18 months for the older two, they youngest didn't start talking until 23 months with the help of speech therapy and just started counting! lol

  • My son will be two the end of this month and he just started counting to 5. He is very stubborn and does everything on his own schedule though.
