What holiday is today (April 20th)?

All weekend long we've heard that Monday is a holiday. I'm guessing it's a rememberance of Columbine but I don't know. Does anyone else know?

(By the way, this question is not really "for fun" but I didn't know what other category to put it in.)

  • The actual remembrance being marked today is that its the anniversary of Columbine. Not to be celebrated obviously, but to be held in remembrance of those lives lost.

Sadly enough its also Hitler's birthday.

The only place I know of 420 being openly celebrated is in BC, Canada.

  • April 20th (also known as 4:20) is a pot smokers holiday. Here's a wiki article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/420_(cannabis_culture).
