  • anon 1:02 - Are you serious? Then why did Bin Laden attack us when Clinton was in office? Remember the 1st World Trade Center bombing? Was that Clinton's fault. Nooooo - only repub. are blamed. Stop blaming the Bush everytime you have a bad hair day! We are a nation which trusts that people are as they present themselves. We do not just preach freedoms; we practice them. We don't ask why you are traveling from one place to another in this country. You are free to go as you please. The religious fanaticals exploited that. They feel we are the evil in the world, and without provication, attacked us. We didn't attack them. They can't stand the fact we exist. That is the bottom line. They also didn't care who was in those buildings or on the planes. Muslims could have been there and killed. It made no matter to them. In their mind, you are evil. Chew on that.

  • because the bush administration wanted a reason to go to war in the middle east and ignore the attacks. We were not easy target the attacks could have being prevented but they got us into afganistan and Iraq and allow bush to finish daddy's war

  • Because Americans go around thinking "we're all that" and we don't pay attention to the fact that nother we have or do is original. If we're smart enough to come up with a weopon, so aren't other countries, etc. We just walk around thinking "nobody can touch us".....and apparently we were wrong.

  • monologue from an episode of Rescue Me about why 9/11 happened “neoconservative government effort” to control the world’s oil, drastically increase military spending and “change the definition of pre-emptive attack.” To put it into action, he continues, “what you need is a new Pearl Harbor. That’s what they said they needed.”

  • Nobody expected it...that's why

  • Nobody expected it and everyone was just coming back to work from Labor Day weekend. We are not used to such attacks on our soil and we didn't see it coming. It's not a conservative vs liberal, Republican vs. Democrat thing. Actually, the plans were started long before Bush took office so it could more likely been seen as Clinton's rather than Bush's fault, BUT it was done because we were (and still are) too cocky and never believed that someone would attack us on our own soil.
