okay real question this time. hellllp

i am making scalloped potatoes and ham for dinner but they seem to be a little soupy for some reason. how can i fix that? i was going to add some flour but i dont want to make them taste like flour?

  • I'd be tempted to leave the lid off and stir every 10 minutes or so. You could also add instant mashed potatoes if you have any, this would not change the flavor.

  • Can you bake/cook them a little longer on low without them burning? That cooks out some of the moisture.....

  • Add some parmesean cheese to it, that should help thicken it.

  • yea i can i actually have them in the crock pot so should i like tilt the lid and let some of it cook out? i am so mad i have never had this happen before

  • Yeah...try tilting the lid for a while. If it's going to help, you'll know within a half hour.
