I'm on week 2 of the South Beach diet. I had a BAD first day, but that's because my blood sugar dropped from 388 to 168 in one day (I'm diabetic). Since then it's gotten better every day. I think that the headaches are a result of the carb withdrawal our bodies go through; I'm on some meds that do the same thing to me when I cut back on the dosage. I do eat a small amount of healthy carbs like apples or yogurt. No breads, no potatoes, no pasta.
