Best study bible

Well I am converting to Christianity and I was wondering what study bible is the easiest to follow and understand. I am converting from a non christian religion so I need it to be as easy to understand as possible. Thanks!

  • I felt the exact same you did--and i just picked up the Life Application Study Bible--the NLT version--but i would check out different ones at a book store too to see what works well for you.

  • My vote is for "The Born Again Skeptic's guide to the Bible." by Ruth Hurmence Green. It's much clearer than the original.

  • For easy reading there is the New Living Translation, The Message and Contemporary English Version. Here are two websites that have different translations including the three I posted... it's free and you can see which one is easiest to read.

    www.crosswalk.com and www.biblegatway.com
