WIC for a one year old

When you child turns one and you have to recertify with WIC what kinds of food do they give you WIC checks for then?

  • YOu get cereal, milk, eggs, cheese, peanut butter, juice and thats it. Maybe beans and fresh fruits and veggies if they do that in your area but I think you pick between the beans or peanut butter and then you might get $5 for veggies or fruit.

  • Milk, eggs, cheese and juice are on all the checks
    They will give you beans unless you request PB (Request it bc I didn't and now how dry beans up to my ears) and that's on one check
    Cereal is also on one check and you get 36oz of cereal.
    There is a list on the back of every check of acceptable items which really helps with the selecting.
