Why does my nose ONLY run when I am putting my baby to sleep?

I swear, I'll be fine all day, then the minute I am putting my son to sleep and I have to quietly stay put for a few minutes my sinus opens up like Niagara Falls! What is up with that??

  • Same as why the phone rings when you are doing dishes, or on the pot. And why your nose runs when you can't wipe it. I don't know, I'd be rich if I did!

  • Do you do this in the baby room? Maybe there is a smell or something in there that you are allergic to that isn't anywhere else in the house?

  • maybe its an allergy to something in the baby's room.... or maybe its just a timing thing. My seasonal allergies really kick in in the evening/night time hours and then get better after I get my bedtime shower.

  • I used to sneeze whenever I went into a dressing room at the store.
