how do I clean a copper tea pot

I had one years ago and it turned green and icky...

I have a new one which is staying clean so far but I want to keep it that way.

  • I used to rub ketchup on my copper bottom pots to keep them shiny. It really works!

  • Not sure about copper but I know the inside of mine gets this weird residue. I pour half vinegar and half water and let it sit all day.

  • Copper cleaner but there are home remedies too. I know Taco bell salsa will clean copper. Google it.

That disturbs me, I might have to re-think eating taco bell sauce now!
