Is there a Cox bundle (phone, cable w/ DVR, and internet) promotion out there that doesn't cost over $100/month in the Hampton Roads (VA) area?

At our last base, we were fortunate to have met someone with a great unlimited local & long-distant phone/150+ channels cable/high-speed internet deal for less than $99/month. We now live in Poquoson, VA and we're trying to find out if Cox ever offered something like that around here; and we can live without the unlimited long-distance calling. Thanks for any input! (Oh, we don't have Verizon FIOS out here.)

  • i believe the cox promotion in the hampton roads area is: $99 a month for 6 mon-1 yr (everything basic) for first time customers only. that was about year ago so it may have changed since then. the number for cox is 757-222-1111, that is their local number

  • I miss Poqouson, it was so pretty there. I hope it still is.

  • You can certainly call Cox and ask them what sort of deals they have for new customers right now. Let them know you are comparing prices between competitive companies and they will do their best to sway you to their side!

Enjoy your stay in the Hampton Roads area. We were stationed in Va Beach for 4 years and PCS'd up to DC in early 2007 - we live in northern VA, though, because I don't like to live in a city. We are actually using Verizon bundled services for our landline phone, cell phones, internet, and satellite and pay a little over $200 per month.
