my son still wont eat solids (well the kind with iron)

i've been trying, he only wants finger food! should i just go back to giving him formula? hes 1 years old but im afraid that if he doesnt get enough iron he wont grow properly! and he wont spoon feed himself, he'd rather turn the bowl over and make a mess -.-

i tried pediasure like someone said but its sooo expensive! moreso than formula

  • Go back to formula. Give him "real" food choices on the weekend, but don't make a big deal of it. Keep his bottle nearby.

He will eventually move to the more substantial food.

  • My son is 9 months and loves white rice. Im not sure what types of food your little one likes. I have a hard time getting my son to eat any type of meat but if I mix it in so it sticks to the rice, then he'll eat it
