I'm having someone come to my house to spray the inside and the outside b/c i have lots of spiders and ants, what percautions should i take with my 17 month old b/c the inside of the house is also being sprayed?

  • they cannot control spiders, they are an arachnid not an insect. You can buy ant traps to put in corners where yoyr young one cannot get to them and hang moth balls in netting to help keep spiders away. much less expensive alternitives an safer too! If you live near a lake this is inevitable. as Is an older house. try and keep things as clean and free of cobwebs as you can.

  • True about the spiders. Spraying can kill the food source but not the spider (it doesn't lick it's legs to ingest the poison). Our spider guy says the spray is okay once it is dry.

  • most of the in home services have products that are safe for kids and animals. Your child should be fine. Double check with the ervice about their chemicals though. It its harmful when first srpayed, but ok as it dries, then take a trip to the park for a bit.
