  • I've seen a few websites where you can purchase about 1,000 leads for those looking for a business opportunity for $20! Which isn't bad, they claim the leads are under 30 days old. But everytime I've purchased leads they never really went anywhere....especially since once you get them you either have to cold call or spend money on postage to send them postcards or letters.

Honestly, you'd probably have more luck with placing ads locally in Employment Opportunity sections of local papers, or going to Vista Print and getting FREE postcards and hand distributing them in your area. That way you can design the postcards for finding customers AND reps!

We are reps for Ambit Energy and we own a carpet cleaning business and everytime we distribute free postcards door to door we see a huge spike in hits to our sites and phone calls!

  • Another thing we want to do but haven't yet is get those plastic corregated signs you see others hanging on street corner posts. Ever see those signs that say "We buy houses" and a phone number? We've seen ones for "Earn Full Time Income From Home" and a phone number many times and we called a few of them. One lady said she averages about 50 calls a week from those signs. They get taken down every few weeks but she says it pays to keep buying and hanging them in busy intersections!

You could also find local meetup groups or online groups as well as place an ad in the paper about a FREE Business Opportunity Meeting...rent a small room at a hotel (cheaper than you think, our holiday Inn charges $60 for 4 hours for the small room), and give a presentation to those that show up!
