  • I had lice twice when i was a kid and the only two things that helped was tea tree oil(rub about 5drops on your scalp then mix about three drops in your shampoo after) or apple cider vinegar, wash your hair straight with it,don't rinse, wrap your head w/saran for about an hour then rinse. Make sure you wash all your bedding, toys, and anything you think they might live on. Oh and tea tree smells different and is VERY strong.

  • Blonde hair dye, and mayonaise are the things that I have been told.

  • never tried it, but I've read that adding tea tree oil to your regular shampoo can help prevent it, and likely treat it.

  • I've heard of Tea Tree Oil(essential oil) working , and have heard that blow-drying hair on high/hot will help kill them also.
