  • Pretty much the usual...100.5 would be considered a low-grade fever.

  • a fever is a fever no matter what age you are. Normal body temp is 98.6

  • ive always been told by my dd doc's (who see's alot of doc's) anything over 100.3 is considered a fever!

  • My docs rule of thumb to medicate for the following based on age. under 1 year 101, 1-2 years 102, 2-3 years 103, over 3 years 104. If they are under that and acting extremely "off" then consider medicating also. Average normal temp is 98.6 and anything over that is technically a fever though.
