Have you had a boy AND a girl?! I need your input!

Okay so I've had two boys, and between both pregnancies I experienced the following:
1) REALLY BAD morning sickness. So bad I was hospitalized
2) no apetite till the third tri
3) intense cravings for odd stuff I never usually eat (like strawberry milk!)
4) pretty even tempered until the last tri
And now I'm pregnant again, and I'm curious- bc I've heard that concieving a girl and concieving a boy you can have entirely different pregnancies... so basically right now I have all of the opposite symptoms. I have a MASSIVE appetite and no nausea, no cravings and I'm moody as hell... do any of these things happen to indicate a girl this round? What other things do most women who are having girls experience? This is totally for fun...I'm just curious if anyone else had opposite pregancies that may have been related to the sex of their baby?

  • I was hospitalized for morning sickness with my first 2 babies. Baby #1 was a girl, baby #2 was a boy. (6 years apart)

14 yrs later I was preg with baby #3 boy, no morning sickness at all, and starving all the time. Baby #4 girl, no morning sickness at all and starving all the time. (12 mos apart)

    Each pregnancy is different!

  • I have 3 sons & a daughter and also miscarried between my 3rd & 4th children (too soon to know the gender).

All my pregnancies were the same: a few fainting spells, but no nausea.... craved the same... carried the same.... etc.

  • Not for me. This is the 4th, and it has great similarities and differences. All of my pregnancies include intense heartburn, exhaustion, 1st trimester nausea, breast tenderness, dizziness, and skin problems.
2 of them have been accompanied by carpal tunnel, 1 I had gestational diabetes, 1 was a breeze, 1 I had terrible cramps in my hips for months, 1 (currently) intense nausea the whole time. And I have a mix of kids. 1st Girl, 2nd Boy, 3rd Girl, and 4th Boy.

  • With my son i had little to no morning sickness, i craved water constantly and i don't really like to drink water even though i should, i had mood swings but not really too bad and i had tons of water weight gain i looked really bloated all the time.
With my daughter i had severe mood swings, morning sickness from day 1 until i delivered her and didn't really get too much water weight gain.
Every pregnancy is different and i think it's really hard to tell what your having from that. I am 4 weeks along with my 3rd and just based on my last 2 pregnancies i think i'm having a boy, but of course won't know for sure for a while yet.
