If you measure farther along on an ultrasound than what your lmp suggests do they just adjust your LMP date to a different one to determine your due date?

  • WHen I was pregnant with my son, my due date was a week off from my LMP, and my OB says they only change if its more than a two week difference.

  • Not usually. Sometimes they check other things to make sure the baby isn't growing at a rapid pace.

  • I agree with crystal. they changed mine from may 26 to May 19 because the meaurements didn't add up
