does it really work if the mother and father arent togeather and the father is dating another girl?

  • It can work, but it takes great strength. Without details it's hard to say, but try your best to put your pain aside and focus on the child.... You will need support from family and friends now-- this is a very heartbreaking thing. You must have had dreams that are now forever changed, and you'll have to adjust to that. Make sure that dad and new girlfriend are safe for your your child to be with, and beyond that, find some support for yourself. It will not hurt so much as time passes.

  • Why wouldn't it? If the father and mother aren't together then both can date other people. Jealousy is a terrible thing and only hurts the child
