  • I know that when I was the age I would say that because
    A. I really did not care
    B. you are annoying me
    C. At that time I just did not want to take what they were saying in..

Good Luck my kids are little..::))

  • Depends on the context. Do you want chicken for dinner? I don't care. Means they don't care.
Stop that or you'll go blind! I don't care. Means they don't care...or that you're in their business.
If you don't get your act together you have to move out! I don't care. Means I do care, don't throw me out, but I'm not going to let you see me beg.
And we thought they were tough when they were toddlers!

  • If it's an 18 yr old saying it, it usually means I don't want to hear you nagging me anymore so I'll say these words so you will cease nagging.

  • To care about something means that it matters to you. That you consider it important. To say I don't care means that you do not consider it important.
