  • I'm glad you clarified!

    My heart has slowed down....

I fed my son about every 3-4 hours at that age. Just keep a close eye on your baby. When the fussing starts and it's not a diaper or boredom...snack time!

  • My daughter has fruit with cereal for breakfast, a vegetable for lunch and then a dinner . . . everything else is formula.

Oh, and I knew what you meant.

  • At 6 months mine were eating three meals and three snacks. Yes...eating food! LOL ( I had the first poster's reaction at first, too! lol)

They had cereal usually mixed with a jar of fruit and formula (sippy cup)
Snack...finger foods with sippy of juice/water
lunch...fruit and vegetable (one jar each) and sippy of formula
snack..finger foods with sippy of juice/water
supper...vegetable and dinner combo (one jar each) and sippy of formula
bedtime (about 1 hour before bed)...sippy cup of formula (and about 7months finger foods)

We also started introducing table foods at this time.

  • I knew what you meant.
At 6 months I think we started with 1/night feeding and then moved on to breakfast and before bed meals... and around 7 months did 3 meals/day.
Now at 9 months he gets 2-3 meals and often times a snack.
