How much would you charge at a yard sale?

I am having a yard sale and have soooooo many lil girl clothes, size preemie to 9 months. How much would you charge or even pay for like each lil onesie or sleeper? they are all in pretty good shape and some even still have the tags. just trying to get an idea of price to put on them.

  • I will be having a yard sale soon, selling close to the items it sounds like you are.

For clothes with the tags still on I will be charging $2.oo and for clothes that are used I will be charging 75cents, regardless of what it is. Burp rags are gonna be priced at 50 cents each, or 12 for $5.oo.

    Hope that helps :)

  • That sounds about right. Just take a look at Craigslist for your local area at what other people are pricing. Under garage sales most people give pricing and post a free ad yourself you'll get way more people to stop by. Usually .50-1.00 for onesies is the most you'll get. $1-$3 for nice outfits. Good luck!

  • onesies-,50-2.00 depending on how nice it is. Outfits2-5 depending on if it is new, what it cost when you boght it, etc.(do not charge 5-10 for csomething just because it is name brand and it looks like the washer ate it or the baby spit up on it several times, i have seen this so many times)
SHoes.50-3 depending again how nice they are.Coat or suit 3-5.

  • The general rule is to charge between 10 & 20% of what you originally paid. If you want more than that, take it to a consignment shop.
