Can she take an antihistamine while on antibiotic?

My daughter has outdoor allergies and as a result has developed a sinus infection and ear infection from all the drainage. She was prescribed an antibiotic. Can I give her an antihistamine while she's taking the antibiotic? Her pediatrician gave me an antihistamine for her, but that was before the ear/sinus infection visit and I forgot to ask if she could have both. Anyone know?
